New mini saga title for this week - A STRESSFUL DENTIST'S CHECK-UP

The Moonwalker has chosen your title this week, too. Don't forget to write a great ending, as well as a really good beginning. And remember - only 50 words!

LET'S BE ALL BLACKS

The famous team of rugby of New Zealand is here in this super cool blog! This team was formed in April 1892 . The All Blacks  are very famous for their big success in the competition  of  the word cup and for the haka. This team is very well-known for the style of their game, crashing into the defence of their opponents, and passing to a very fast player who scores the try. Do you want to be an All Black? This week's mini sagas - THE DINOSAURS ARE BACK!

Image
“It’s hot!” declared granny, heading to the forest glade. We were cutting plants with a machete, we could barely walk through the high vegetation! Granny slid open the curtain of leaves in front of us. We saw a dinosaur family in the clearing. She took photos and we walked away… By Cookie.07 _______________________________________________________________________________ “It’s 8:30 on TSB RADIO. The English football team has…” BOOM CRASH CRASH STOMP CRASH BOOM! “Ahhhhhhhhhh!” “Oh noooooooo!”   “What is happening?” “Listeners we are going to tell you extremely important news! Dinosaurs are back! We have just seen hundreds of diplodocus pass only a few meters from the station.” By The Moonwalker _______________________________________________________________________________ I was eating a sandwich in bed when I heard a crash! I was scared to see an enormous foot on my bed, just in the middle. I screamed, I saw him… the dinosaur. He had pointy teeth, a scary mo

Next week's mini saga title: DINOSAURS ARE BACK!

This title has been chosen by our newest writer, The Moonwalker. We will be looking for the best ENDING, because we think you are all excellent at beginnings now. But don't forget to keep your beginnings good too!

Our young writers tackle the title: "WHY ALWAYS SCREENS?" ASKED GRANNY, in precisely 50 words

I had nearly beaten my highest score when granny shut down my PC. She told me: “Go outside”. That night I couldn’t sleep. Granny’s snores stopped… I ran to her bedroom and was shocked to see her on my PC! “What’re you doing, Granny?” “Paladin. I’ve been playing for years.” By boum32 _______________________________________________________________________________ “Why are you always watching screens?” asked granny. “When I was your age I didn't have any screens. I used to cut up a cardboard box and play television with it.” So I took a cardboard box and played television with my granny. It was more fun than watching screens! By Lollipop _____________________________________________________________________________ I was on my Nintendo Switch when granny arrived. I didn’t want to say hello because I was in the middle of a game. Mummy told me that I had to go say hello. I replied, “When I finish”. Meanwhile granny had sneakily come in and turned my game

This week's mini saga title

This week your title from asus is: "Why always screens?" says Granny.

When England won - Mini-sagas from supporters around the world, who were allowed to change the team name!

Some great stories here from students aged 8 to 11! I really like the way that each story is from a different point of view - sometimes from the point of view of a supporter, sometimes from a player, and once from the point of view of someone who wasn't even watching the match! Can you guess the sport for each of these stories? _________________________________________________________________________________  Everyone was for France, but I was for Belgium. Every time France scored, they yelled. I was quiet, saying in my head, “Come on Belgium, come on!” Finally, BELGIUM SCORED!!!! As I yelled I heard, “Oooohhhhh” in the room! Suddenly France scored again; I was disappointed - Belgium could have won! He goes outside and sees men talking loudly. He walks towards them being as

This week's mini saga title

WHEN ENGLAND WON OR Any other country of your choice!

Who is it? Guess the characters, described in precisely 50 words by your mini-saga writers!

Following the challenge by coco2000, here are some great characters for you to guess, described by your mini-saga writers. Each character is numbered - please write your answers in the comments. ________________________________________________________________________ Character Number 1: I died not long ago on the 20th January 2018 at 91 years old. I was a famous cook. I used to live in Collonges au Mont d’Or where I also worked. I was also called “The cooking emperor” as I was very good at cooking. I was born in 1926. By Squigly! ________________________________________________________________________ Character Number 2: This is a great writer! Do you know the famous stories about chocolate and a peach and a gentle giant? Kids love these stories because they are childish, funny, weird and extraordinary. I love the giant insects in the fruit. This author is dead but is still really, really popular. By cookie.07 ________________________________________________
