Wednesday School by Asus

In France there is no school on Wednesday.  Sometimes only in the morning.  So children can rest and do sport and play music. When you where at school did you go to school on Wednesday? Do you think it is a good idea?

    A very interesting topic.
    In South Africa where I come from, there is school Monday through to Friday, but our time at school as much shorter - children aged 6 to 8 years finish school at about 12 and from 8 to 12 years finish school about 1:30 The older children finish school at about 2:30pm. They can therefore play sport and go for extra lessons/ music etc in the afternoons. Most schools start about 7:30am.

    I think this is a good idea carrying on from tradition and should be kept this way. No school on Wednesday.

    I would prefer 5 shorter days. So we can play after school everyday including the cold months

    Here in England we have school Monday to Friday. I wish we had more time for music, art and sports. I have to be at school very early, but then, I AM the teacher!

The Dark Jungle - a thrilling adventure by asus

Tom was running. His feet were hurting, but he knew he couldn't stop because a group of gorillas was chasing him. He spotted a giant hole in a tree and without hesitating he leaped in! He saw the group run past him. He was relieved. -  Tom was 23 years old. He was an explorer and he was very brave because the dark jungle was the most dangerous place in the world! He was accused of the murder of the gorilla king but actually the murderer was the king’s servant Tomas. Suddenly he heard a banging noise behind him! He turned around and saw fist-shaped dents in the tree… He heard the gorilla voices. Luckily the tree was hollow so he climbed up and just as he had heaved himself up he saw a gorilla poke its head in, but it was too stupid to look up.
