good post and yes I like not having school on wednesday
ReplyDeleteA very interesting topic.
ReplyDeleteIn South Africa where I come from, there is school Monday through to Friday, but our time at school as much shorter - children aged 6 to 8 years finish school at about 12 and from 8 to 12 years finish school about 1:30 The older children finish school at about 2:30pm. They can therefore play sport and go for extra lessons/ music etc in the afternoons. Most schools start about 7:30am.
I think this is a good idea carrying on from tradition and should be kept this way. No school on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer 5 shorter days. So we can play after school everyday including the cold months
ReplyDeleteHere in England we have school Monday to Friday. I wish we had more time for music, art and sports. I have to be at school very early, but then, I AM the teacher!
